Terms of Service

FurryJourney is operated by Computing Square (contact@computingsquare.com). By accessing or using FurryJourney, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using FurryJourney in any way, you confirm that you are at least 15 years old, that you have read and accepted these Terms, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement with Computing Square. Age is declared at sign-up and an account declaring an age under 15 cannot be created. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf.
2. Description of Service
FurryJourney is a social platform for pet owners and animal lovers, operated by Computing Square. It enables users to share content, discover pet-friendly places, connect with the community and access pet-related services. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at contact@computingsquare.com.
4. User Content — Licence Grant
You retain ownership of content you post. By posting any content on FurryJourney, you grant Computing Square a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, store, display, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from, perform, publish, translate, distribute and otherwise exploit that content in any media and through any channels, including for advertising and promotion of the service, without any compensation to you. This licence continues even if you delete your account for content that has been shared with others who have not deleted it.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: post illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or misleading content; harass, bully or threaten other users; infringe intellectual property rights; scrape or extract data from the platform without authorisation; use automated means to access or interact with the service; impersonate any person; use the platform to distribute malware or spam; or engage in any activity that harms animals, minors or the community.
6. Reporting, moderation and sanctions
Every post, profile and message can be reported from the app in seconds: the report button sits on the content itself. You can also block a member — their posts leave your feed and they can no longer write to you; your blocked accounts are managed under Settings › Privacy. We review reports and may, depending on severity, remove the content, warn its author, restrict the account or delete it. We remove content that breaches section 5 on our own initiative, without waiting for a report. If a decision seems wrong, write to contact@computingsquare.com: a human reviews it again.
7. Intellectual Property
The FurryJourney name, logo, brand, software, design and all platform content created by Computing Square are the exclusive property of Computing Square and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or proprietary content without our prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or availability. Computing Square makes no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Computing Square and its officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed €100.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 7 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service.
11. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France. For any questions about these Terms, contact Computing Square at contact@computingsquare.com.
